A PALMER hit list of what’s new, now, and next from around the globe—from our obsessive-at-large, Wynn Burson Cateron.

Marking one hundred years since the birth of the legendary photographer, Richard Avedon’s stunning murals are on view at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, along with outtakes and other projects from 1969-71—including the infamously intimate Andy Warhol and Members of The Factory, New York, October 30, 1969…a groundbreaking group portrait, over 30 feet long, inspired in part by the ceremonial depiction of groups in paintings throughout history and composed over seven sittings and several more shed layers of clothing—an electric yet graceful image reflecting the ultimate, ideal match of artist and subject…through October 1, at The Met Fifth Avenue, Gallery 851.
