The multi-talented Sue Patterson can now add author to her list of accomplishments. The Palm Beach resident and chair of the Landmarks Preservation Commission has written a poignant novel titled, Things I Wish I Told My Mother (Little Brown & Company, April 2023) with co-author and friend, Susan DiLallo, and husband James Patterson. It tells the story of a mother and daughter who learn how to listen to each other while on a spontaneous two-week trip to Paris and Norway.

The idea for the book came shortly after Sue’s mother passed away.  “I was overcome with the notion that I wasn’t able to talk to her anymore, and I said to Jim, you know, there are things I wish I could tell my mother,” she said on Instagram.

The novel debuts Monday, April 10th.
