It was a homecoming for Gwyneth Paltrow as she ventured to Palm Beach to host a dinner with Sarah Wetenhall at The Colony Hotel. The Academy Award Winner and Goop Founder has close personal ties to the island that date back to her paternal grandparents, Dorothy & Arnold Paltrow, who were part-time residents beginning in the 1980s. At the dinner, her uncle, Bob Paltrow, himself a Palm Beacher, delivered a heartfelt toast to his beloved niece. Friends included supermodel Karolina Kurkova, Architectural Digest’s Amy Astley, designer Francisco Costa, fashion powerhouse Elizabeth Saltzman, Cartier’s Shamika Johnson, PR guru Malcolm Carfrae and environmentalist Bettina Anderson.

Guests – many wearing jewels by Cartier, enjoyed a first look at the new Goop Villa, created in partnership with interior design firm Ronen Lev and conceived as a Parisian pied-á-terre with pops of tropical Palm Beach colors.
