It’s been a busy — but glamorous — week for the art world, with three major parties garnering attention.

Last night, the Whitney Museum held its annual gala dinner. It was the first gala since Scott Rothkopf became the museum’s director. The event was a celebration of curators game changers in the industry over the last 30 years, and honored board members that had long supported the institution. Palm Beachers in attendance included Kimberly Paige Bluhm, Nicola and Jeff Marcus, Gigi and Avie Mortimer, Bronson van Wyck, Julie and Doug Ostrover, and PALMER Editorial Director Stefano Tonchi.

Over the weekend, Dia Beacon held its annual Spring Benefit dinner. Artists, curators, and celebrities alike made the trek upstate to Beacon, New York. The event featured dinner and performances.

And a few days before that, The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering held an opening party for The European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF). The event raised over $480,000 for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Programs supported by The Society of MSK. Now in its 10th year, TEFAF New York ran until Tuesday at the Park Avenue Armory.
