A bevvy of jewels is about to hit the auction block at Christie’s—including some from a Palm Beach resident. The Magnificent Jewels live auction features pieces from notable figures of the 20th century, including the late Sunny Crawford von Bulow and her daughter, Ala von Auersperg Isham.

Sunny was a famed 20th century socialite with ties to New York and Rhode Island. Meanwhile, Ala is a fashion designer, philanthropist, and prominent society figure in her own right. She currently maintains a home in Palm Beach, which she has called her “hideaway.

Lot 113, a Van Cleef & Arpels carved emerald, ruby, and diamond necklace from 1965. It is expected to fetch between $200,000 to $300,000.

Titled “Beauty in Design,” the collection features a number of pieces from Van Cleef & Arpels, a Tiffany & Co. bracelet, and a Cartier ring, among several art deco items—all of which Christie’s claims serves “as a window into the chic world of the society set in the mid-20th century.”

The Magnificent Jewels auction also features pieces previously owned by the Duchess of Windsor, and the Italian movie star Silvana Mangano. The live auction will take place June 11. Christie’s Jewels Online auction runs from June 4th to 13th. Click here to see more images of the lots.
