As first rumored in PALMER several months ago, it has now been confirmed that an Addison Mizner-designed oceanfront home at 455 North County Road has just joined the $100 million club, selling for $148 million. The buyer can now be confirmed as Daren Metropoulos, and the sellers were members of the Pencer family, who had restored the property after first purchasing it in the early 2000s.
Mr. Metropoulos is also the owner of the former Playboy Mansion in L.A., and a son of Palm Beach resident C. Dean Metropoulos. Christian Angle represented the buyer and Jim McCann the seller.
