The next big binge-worthy show is just around the corner. Following the success of Apple TV+’s Palm Royale, Hollywood is turning its attention to another island—Nantucket—with The Perfect Couple.
Adapted from best selling author Elin Hilderbrand’s novel, the show stars Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning, Omar Epps, and Meghann Fahy (who gave a star performance on HBO’s White Lotus). A stylized murder mystery, the plot explores the affluent Nantucket lifestyle, that is interrupted when a dead body washes up on shore during an over-the-top society wedding. The show starts streaming September 5 on Netflix — prime Nantucket wedding season!
