Aspen ArtWeek came to a glittering end with the Aspen Art Museum’s annual ArtCrush Gala. Notable artists such as KAWSAlex IsraelZanele Muholi, and Allison Katz, whose exhibition, In the House of the Trembling Eye, is currently on view at the museum.

The evening—which featured dinner and dancing—celebrated the museum’s 45th anniversary, and the 10th anniversary of its Shigeru Ban-designed building. Ban, along with artist Jacqueline Humphries and composer and artist Jason Moran, were honored at the event. The night also featured a live auction, which (in addition to a separate online auction) raised a record-breaking $4.5 million to support the museum’s year-round curatorial and educational programming. For the first time all participating artists were invited to retain a portion of the proceeds.

“I am energized by the enthusiastic response to this year’s special anniversary edition of Aspen ArtWeek, and to have welcomed visitors from all over the world to participate in the program we have been building and growing since we first staged it four years ago,” said Nicola Lees, the Nancy and Bob Magoon Director of the Aspen Art Museum.

Other notable guests included Eleanore and Domenico De Sole, Jamie Tisch, John and Amy Phelan, Peter Soros, Electra Taub, and Nancy Magoon, among others. Click through the slideshow below to see what everyone wore.
