Oracle founder Larry Ellison—who holds the record for having acquired the most expensive home in Manalapan from Netscape’s Jim Clark for $173 million—has now broken a new record with his purchase of the neighboring Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, reportedly for over $400 million. Ellison, who owns heralded resort properties such as the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, is aiming to bring a new level of luxury, experience, and style to Palm Beach.
In recent years Eau Palm Beach underwent a multi-million dollar remodeling, which was completed in 2022. The resort currently features a 42,000-square-foot spa, seaside swimming pools, numerous restaurants, and a Lilly Pulitzer suite.
