Those interested in true summer glamour should look north to Newport. On Saturday, The Preservation Society of Newport County hosted its Summer Dinner Dance at The Elms. Titled “La Fête du Jardin,” the already beautiful estate was decked out with even more flowers and orange trees in custom planters. Further playing on the theme, the space was decorated with vintage photos of The Elms’s gardens.

The black-tie gala—which acts as a fundraiser for the Preservation Society—drew 575 guests, all of whom enjoyed a dinner by The Catered Affair and dancing to the beats of Marjorie “DJ Mad Marj” Gubelmann. The event’s Chairs included Meg Braff, Kate Gubelmann, and Ala von Auersperg Isham.
