It appears Tommy Hilfiger enjoyed the summer on his yacht so much, he wanted to give all of New York a taste of the boat life. For his Spring 2025 fashion show, the designer took over a Staten Island Ferry to present a nautical-themed collection.
The specific boat in question has some star power to its name: in 2022 it was acquired by Colin Jost and Pete Davidson, both Staten Island natives who met while working at Saturday Night Live. Neither of the comedians was in attendance, but Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Audrey Hilfiger, Anna Wintour, June Ambrose, Alina Cho, Brooke Shields, and PALMER’s Stefano Tonchi were among the many who did climb aboard. Guests spanned both decks of the ferry as models used the perimeter as their runway. The soundtrack for the show was supervised by Questlove, while the finale featured a performance from Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Raekwon—all members of the Staten Island group the Wu-Tang Clan.
The collection itself featured hallmarks of the Tommy Hilfiger brand—sporty silhouettes, a red, white, and blue color palette—peppered with airy knits and a chic take on a gingham print. Check out a video of the show, below.
