It’s been a big week for West Palm Beach news.
On Tuesday, the Palm Beach County Commission approved a major five-acre land donation for a Vanderbilt University campus. This is in addition to the two acres at 386 S. Tamarind Ave. and properties on Evernia and Fern streets that were approved in August. The esteemed Nashville-based university has committed at least $300 million to the first phase of construction.
Meanwhile, Bal Harbour Shops—the chic Miami shopping destination—has announced its Access Pop-Up Tour will hit West Palm Beach from November 15, 2024 to January 15, 2025. Located at CityPlace, the pop-up turns modular shipping containers into an immersive space featuring brands like Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, and Tiffany & Co., as well as The Whitman, an on-site restaurant.
Between all this and the rumor that several prominent art collectors are opening their own gallery spaces, things in WPB are getting very busy.
