Get ready to run! This Saturday, the Hope for Depression Research Foundation (HDRF) will hold its seventh annual Race of Hope to Defeat Depression, a 5K run/walk raising awareness and funds for mental health research.

To get in the racing spirit, the HDRF recently held a kick-off dinner at Le Bilboquet, hosted by Founder and Chair Audrey Gruss and HDRF Advisory Board member Scott Snyder. Junior Chairs included Honorary Chair PJ Quick Pollack, Co-Chair Nick Mele, and Vice-Chairs Hollis Bradley Pica, Chloe Pearl Glaser, Katherine Lande and Kevin Condon, Mona Nasser, Whitney Schott, Grace and Tally Walker and Sarah Wetenhall.

The evening—which was underwritten by an anonymous donor—began with cocktails in the restaurant’s courtyard, before moving indoors for dinner. Among the more than 70 guests were George Hamilton with sons Ashley and George, Martin Gruss, as well as a number of committee members, including Jamee and Peter Gregory, The Hon. David Fischer and Jennifer Fischer, Simone Levinson, Thomas Quick and Michael Donnell, Yaz and Valentine Hernandez, and more.
