It seems as if Palm Beach and West Palm Beach are becoming a center axis of the art world — and what better way to celebrate this shift than by bringing together some of the town’s foremost art-minded personalities. On Saturday morning, PALMER teamed up with New Wave Art to hold a panel discussion about collecting, connoisseurship, and community at UOVO — a leading provider of storage services for art, fashion, wine, archives and collectibles.

Attendees were treated to breakfast and enjoyed a spirited talk between Beth DeWoody, Dylan Brant, Sarah Gavlak, and Robert Stilin, moderated by PALMER’s Editorial Director, Stefano Tonchi. The panelists delved into Palm Beach’s history and evolution into a coveted art world destination.

After the panel concluded, New Wave hosted an open studio reception for their artist in residence, Rich Aybar of RA Workshop. Aybar’s work is inspired by his childhood memories of the Dominican Republic, and explores the balance between natural and synthetic materials.
