The mega Los Angeles home of Colleen and Bradley Bell has been divided into two parcels that recently sold for a combined and colossal $86 million. The Bells originally purchased their palatial abode from long-time Palm Beacher Rod Stewart in 1992. They subsequently acquired the neighboring home from the family of actor Gregory Peck following his death in 2003, creating a grand 6-acre estate.

In a complicated year-long negotiation orchestrated by brokers Ben Bacal of Revel Real Estate and Drew Fenton of Carolwood Estates, the larger portion of the property was just acquired by David Zander, who has some Palm Beach connections as well. The TV and film producer purchased his former East Hampton home, Lasata (pictured above), from Palm Beachers Delphine and Reed Krakoff, and then sold it last year to another Palm Beach resident, fashion designer and film director, Tom Ford, keeping it all in the proverbial PB family.

Lasata, as many of you know, was the childhood summer home of former First Lady Jackie Kennedy, whom we don’t need to remind anyone had rather strong Palm Beach ties of her own.
