An ongoing list of some of our favorite people.

Janet Gretzky
The  celebrated  actress and model, with her husband, hockey legend  Wayne Gretzky, spent many years on the go depending on which team he was playing for. But after he retired, it was their daughter, Paulina, who inspired their move to Palm Beach. Now, well established in the area, the popular and engaging couple -along with Paulina and her husband, golf great Dustin Johnson- spend their time devoted to their growing family, sports, community and philanthropy. The Wayne Gretzky Foundation is dedicated to helping less fortunate youth experience the sport of hockey, and Wayne is spearheading the building of new ice rinks in Palm Beach Gardens.

Mila Mulroney
As wife of the late Brian Mulroney, the charming and glamorous Mila played a prominent role in her husband’s two terms as Prime Minister of Canada. During his time in office, she took up several notable causes—and her philanthropic streak has continued ever since. The Mulroneys were longtime seasonal residents of Palm Beach, and utterly devoted to one another. After Brian passed away last year, their friend Annette Tapert described her as his “anchor and soulmate.” Mila continues to honor his legacy as Chancellor of St. Francis Xavier University, Brian’s alma mater, and recently co-hosted a fundraiser in Palm Beach for the Brian Mulroney Institute in Canada – our equivalent of a presidential library.

Minnie Pulitzer
The Pulitzer name carries a lot of weight in Palm Beach, but Minnie has made it distinctly her own. She recently became a local hero after jumping into the ocean to save the life of a drowning surfer discovered while she and her sister Liza were taking their morning beach walk. In recognition, she was just honored with the Raymond J. Kunkel Award by the Palm Beach Civic Association for her bravery, earning yet another important accolade for their distinguished family. Mother Lilly would be proud.
