The first Monday in May is one of New York’s most glamorous nights—enough to draw some of Palm Beach’s biggest names north. This week, the Costume Institute held the 2025 Met Gala in honor of its new exhibit, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. The dress code for the white-tie event was “Tailored for You.” Most guests interpreted this through exquisite suiting.

Naturally, designers like Tom Ford and Dee Ocleppo and Tommy Hilfiger were on hand, as were tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams as well as Palm Beachers Christine and Stephen Schwarzman, Hope Smith, and Gina Sanders and Steve Newhouse.
