Dr. Jennifer Gates Nassar
The accomplished daughter of Melinda and Bill Gates is a celebrated equestrian who divides her time between Wellington and New York. In 2021, she married fellow equestrian Nayel Nassar and the couple now have two children. She recently completed her medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine and is a resident doctor in pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital. She also graduated with a Masters of Public Health degree and serves on the Advisory Board of the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
Nobu Matsuhisa
Originally from Japan, Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, got his start as a dishwasher in a restaurant in Tokyo where he was trained as a Sushi master. After 7 years, he was invited by one of their best clients to open a Japanese restaurant in Peru. Unable to find the ingredients necessary to create many traditional dishes, he had to improvise, thereby creating his signature style. He moved to LA in 1977 where he worked at two Japanese restaurants prior to opening Matsuhisa where he was discovered by Robert DeNiro. The rest is history. Today, the company oversees approximately 40 restaurants and 15 hotels, including two very popular ones in Palm Beach.
Amy Baier
Few had conquered Palm Beach as quickly and effortlessly as the popular and charming Amy Baier. Introduced on a blind date, she and her husband news anchor Bret Baier have been married for 20 years and have two sons. Having a child born with multiple congenital heart defects, Amy has dedicated herself to the Children’s National Hospital Foundation for more than 15 years and currently serves as its board’s chair. With a shared interest in media, Amy is also a member of the National Committee for Performing Arts and the National Museum of Women in the Arts. The tireless Palm Beach hostess also co-chaired the 2025 Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society Gala and the 2025 Heart Ball for the American Heart Association.
