The Preservation Society of Newport County hosted its Coaching Weekend Dinner Dance on Saturday evening at The Breakers – one of its numerous Gilded Age mansions. More than 600 guests – including Christine & Stephen Schwarzman, Cornelia Guest, Sharon Bush & Bob Murray, Meg & Doug Braff, Todd Romano, and David Granville & Jeff Pfeifle enjoyed an unforgettable evening of dinner, dancing and celebration under a beautifully adorned tent by DEP Events. Dinner was served by The Catered Affair and music provided by the legendary Bob Hardwick Sound Orchestra. The Dance Chair was Beverly Little along with Vice Chairs Daisy Prince, Pamela Owens, Leslie Hull, Elaine Lindh. 

Held once every three years, Coaching Weekend is always the highlight of Newport’s social season honoring a cherished tradition and is one of The Preservation Society’s most important fundraisers.

The Preservation Society of Newport County, Rhode Island, is a nonprofit organization accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. It is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the area’s historic architecture, landscapes, decorative arts and social history.
