For Joey Wölffer, the Hampton Classic isn’t just another stop on the equestrian calendar—it’s a family tradition, and a celebration of her signature joie de vivre. From competing in the 2* Grand Prix with Rockstar to watching her daughter Evie sweep the pony classes, Wölffer captures the thrill and unpredictability of the show grounds with equal parts grit and glamour. In true Joey style, the behind-the-scenes action goes beyond the saddle, from chic Dada Sport looks to Summer in a Bottle–inspired tablescapes. Here, her personal diary from one of the Hamptons’ most beloved events.

1. Reviewing the plan for the 2* Grand Prix with my trainer Samuel Hutton!

2. Rockstar jumping a super round in the 1.40 Amateurs for our third outing ever! Also, I wear all Dada Sport, an incredible female founded and run French equestrian brand!

3. We had a little mishap and Rockstar shook his bridle off! I love this photo because there is a fun calm in all the chaos! So much of horsemanship is about the bond between the horse and rider and I trust Rockstar implicitly.

4. My 7 year old Evie won all of her jumping classes in the Medium Children’s ponies to finish Champion. It’s so special to share this love of horses with my girls!

5. I will never get over jumping my own jump! It’s really special to have been a sponsor of the Hampton classic for over 30 years, but to also have created a brand that fits so well in the industry is really exciting!

6. I accidentally matched my table and our new Summer in a Bottle Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley!

7. Our third place table. I always want to celebrate a new wine by designing the table around the look and feel of the bottle. This particular green works perfectly with our exciting new wine!
