The 45th Annual Winter Ball, the largest and longest-running fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, took place this year on February 6 and raised an extraordinary $6.5 million. Held in the Venetian Ballroom of The Breakers, the evening was chaired by Sarah Johnson, Laura Reynolds, and Andrea Wynn, and remains one of the most anticipated nights of the Palm Beach season.

“Our goal was not only to host a beautiful evening, but to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who need us most,” said the Chairs. “The generosity in the room was truly inspiring.” The proceeds from the event will directly support Club operations as well as its Hunger Relief program, which provides more than 675,000 meals annually across 20 sites throughout Palm Beach County.

The evening’s Call to Heart led by Palm Beach’s own philanthropic auctioneer, Tommy Quick, gained early momentum when Steve Wynn pledged to match the first $1 million, joined by Thomas Peterffy, who also committed a $1 million match. Ann and Charles Johnson contributed an additional $1 million in support of the organization’s Great Futures Campaign, funding expanded educational initiatives.

Another highlight of the evening was when Lynn Wheat won the live auction item of a transatlantic escape, pairing three nights at Rusacks St Andrews in Scotland with three nights at Coral Sands on Harbour Island, complete with curated accommodations and seamless private air travel, donated by Tradewind.

As the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County marks more than 53 years of service, the record-setting 2026 Winter Ball ensures continued support for the 46,000 youth served annually across its 20 Club locations.
