At Club Colette on February 5, The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center gathered for its second annual Palm Beach Lunch, raising more than $88,000 for MSK’s Gynecologic Cancer Initiative. The afternoon, sponsored by NET-A-PORTER, centered on honoring Jamee Gregory, Past President of The Society of MSK and a driving force behind its work in Palm Beach.
Gregory has long been instrumental in strengthening the Society’s presence locally, helping to channel philanthropy toward patient care, research, and education. Her leadership has supported initiatives that directly impact women facing gynecologic cancers, ensuring that the most advanced treatment and clinical research continue moving forward.
A thoughtful conversation between MSK’s Dr. Nadeem Abu-Rustum, Chief of Gynecology Service & Gynecologic Oncology, and broadcast journalist Page Hopkins brought clarity to what that support truly means: earlier detection, expanded clinical trials, and better outcomes for patients worldwide.
Founded in 1946, The Society of MSK remains powered by volunteers who work closely with physicians and researchers to advance care while supporting patients and families through treatment. The Palm Beach lunch was a reminder that progress in medicine depends not only on science, but on sustained community engagement.
Gregory’s recognition reflected years of steady commitment. The funds raised through The Society move quickly into research and patient care, and Palm Beach’s support plays a clear and ongoing role in advancing women’s cancer treatment.
