Last week in Palm Beach, Lauren Bush Lauren joined The Colony CEO Sarah Wetenhall for a conversation and dinner in support of The FEED Foundation, bringing together a group of Palm Beach supporters, for an evening of dialogue and philanthropy.

Founded by entrepreneur and philanthropist Lauren Bush Lauren in 2007, FEED’s mission is to fight hunger and eliminate malnutrition through nutritious school meals and sustainable, equitable, and innovative food systems. It operates on a simple model where consumer products directly fund school meals. Since its launch, the initiative has helped provide more than 130 million meals globally, working with partners such as the World Food Program and UNICEF.

The discussion centered on that model, delving into how a brand can function as a funding mechanism, what it takes to sustain that over time, and the challenges and mechanics of doing good at scale. Dinner followed, with guests moving to the lawn including Joey WölfferCathy BuschDelfina BlaquierKatie Sturino, Sharon Bush, and Veronica Webb. Proceeds from the evening will support FEED’s school feeding programs and food access initiatives.
