Some collections are built around statement. Others around familiarity. For Spring Summer 2026, Tod’s continues its Italian Stories series with a campaign set along the Amalfi Coast, this time in Maiori, inside the Torre della Limonaia. For the house, that sense of familiarity has long been tied to craftsmanship and leather, shaping a quiet, lived-in approach to luxury.

The setting does much of the work. Light moves easily through the space, days unfold without urgency, and the pace feels intentionally slowed. It is less about a specific moment than a mood, one built around ease, familiarity, and a certain kind of quiet confidence.

At the center are five friends moving through the day together. Breakfast stretches into conversation, walks become unplanned detours, and small gestures carry more weight than anything staged. The focus stays on these in-between moments, where the rhythm of daily life feels both simple and instinctive.

Under the direction of Matteo Tamburini, who joined Tod’s as creative director in 2024, the collection reflects a steady evolution of the house’s language. The focus stays on how the clothes move and sit on the body, with silhouettes that feel fluid without losing structure. There is a lightness to the construction, from soft outerwear to more tailored pieces, all shaped through material and proportion.

Throughout the collection, familiar elements return in a more understated way. The Gommino, one of Tod’s most recognizable signatures, runs quietly through the season, appearing in its classic form as well as reworked with perforations and open details. Leather remains central, shaped through inlays, stitching, and soft construction that gives the pieces a natural sense of movement.

The palette follows the same direction. Warm, sun-washed tones, saffron, soft browns, and natural neutrals carry through pieces like the Pashmy caban, perforated nappa jackets, and lightweight trench coats. Details are subtle but present, from hand-threaded loafers to bags like the Di Bag Folio and the updated T Timeless, where the craftsmanship comes through in the way the pieces are made and finished.

In this latest chapter, Tod’s returns to what it has always done well, refining familiar shapes and materials in a way that feels true to the setting and its pace.
