Can you feel it? The air softening, the light shifting, the renewed sense of possibility and freedom. Summer will be upon us soon. You start thinking about it in images, maybe even as a scene from a film, the soft breeze in your hair as you gaze upon an open body of water. Then you begin to picture what you’ll be wearing.
There are certain fashion images engraved in our collective mind forever. Few evoke the slow, blissful days of summer more than old Hollywood on the French Riviera. Think Audrey Hepburn in a red-and-white striped swimsuit top, or Grace Kelly in a headscarf tied neatly under her chin aboard her yacht on the Mediterranean, every element of her outfit precisely attuned. Hollywood did not invent Riviera style, but through cinema and photography, it fixed it there: the foulard, the clean lines, the gingham, the strawberry reds, the infinite blues of the water and sky. What belonged to a specific place became something that could be carried anywhere.
Jimmy Choo’s new Riviera capsule begins with that set of references and reimagines them for the present. The campaign, set at Paradise Cove in Malibu, is the Riviera filtered through California light.

Livi Wedge 85
Here, the iconic foulard is not only reproduced as such (though it is a fine addition to any look), but is also translated into a recurring bow detail. Inspired by a scarf tied around the handle of a handbag, it appears across styles, softening the line of the Liss sandal, set on a 35mm micro heel, and the Livi wedge.
Gingham runs through the capsule, a pattern long associated with mid-century leisure dressing, here used beautifully as a contemporary take on a classic. Raffia, too, is a highlight, bringing even more texture to the collection.
Summer 2026 is all about the great tote, and Jimmy Choo’s Beach Tote East West Mini is exactly that, expertly woven and designed to move easily from beach to town. Another fantastic bag in the collection is the new Callie Maxi, which expands one of Jimmy Choo’s signature evening silhouettes into something meant to move through the day as well.
The Bay flat, with its hand-finished canvas, leans further into texture, while the Bon Bon and Cinch bags are reworked in gingham and raffia, further anchoring the collection in a familiar Riviera language.

Bon Bon, Bucket Bag
Designed in London under Creative Director Sandra Choi and crafted in Italy, each piece reflects the house’s long-standing commitment to material, proportion, and craftsmanship. The work of the hand is visible throughout, in the weaving of raffia, the finishing of canvas, the balance of a heel, details that are easy to overlook but are key to how something is worn and how long it lasts.
And if you’re in Palm Beach this week, dreaming up your summer plans, you’ll be able to experience and shop the capsule collection in person. From March 31 through April 2, Jimmy Choo is hosting a private shopping experience at The Colony Hotel, between 10am and 5pm. Run, don’t walk (unless you’re wearing very high Jimmy Choos.)
