In celebration of its anniversary issue, PALMER took over Coco’s, the Vineta Hotel‘s much-buzzed-about new restaurant, which has quickly introduced another dimension of luxury and hospitality to Palm Beach. As host Michael Berman quipped when he welcomed the fifty guests, “I quickly realized the only way we were going to secure a reservation tonight was to take over the entire restaurant.”

So that is exactly what they did. Co-hosted with his wife Victoria Hagan, the evening was a celebration of PALMER’s legendary editorial director Stefano Tonchi. They brought together friends, collaborators, contributors, and longtime supporters of the publication from the worlds of art, business, fashion, philanthropy, and design, whose perspectives on Palm Beach, past and present, have shaped each issue from the outset.

Guests included Hilary and Wilbur Ross, Wendy and Howard Cox, Beth Rudin DeWoody, Kimberly and Neil Bluhm, Mei Sze and Jeff Greene, Kelly Bensimon, Deborah Norville and Karl Wellner, Kathy and Rick Hilton, Liza Pulitzer, Gayfryd Steinberg and Michael Shnayerson, Katherine Bryan, George Hamilton, Simon Neggers, Jules Perowne, Victoria Wyman, Achille Salvagni, Kelly Williams and Andrew Forsyth, Annette Tapert and Joe Allen, Pamela Gross and Jimmy Finklestein, Heather Van Der Mije, Craig Reynolds, Maynard Monrow, Tim Malloy and Susan Bodnar, Anna and Lucas Flores-Piran, Ghislain d’Humieres and Nicolas Raubertas, Sue Hostetler, Kim Heirston, John Demsey, Whitney Schott, Carolyn Pressly Ryan, Louis Coletti, Christine Schott and George Ledes, and Sarah Gargano.

The menu was created especially for the evening by chefs from Oetker Hotels’ Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc. Château Léoube provided its highly-sought-after Secret de Léoube Rosé, alongside a selection of red and white wines offered by Aperture Cellars, founded by winemaker Jesse Katz.

Each guest received a copy of PALMER Vol. 10, featuring Lilly Pulitzer’s iconic 1971 “Poppyland” print on the cover, juxtaposed with a contemporary photograph by Scott Semler.

A highlight of the week’s celebrations, the dinner captured what PALMER has built over ten issues, a publication grounded in creativity, journalism, and a clear point of view, with Palm Beach at the center of an evolving cultural conversation. As Stefano Tonchi notes “Palm Beach serves as a microcosm for the rest of the country and a window into how Americans live and think today. We’re so grateful to each and every one of you for opening your worlds to us.”
