On the first day of Salone del Mobile, April 21st, PALMER celebrated design week in Milan with a cocktail party co-hosted by Lilly Pulitzer and Holly Hunt at Cafe Floretta, the new Rocco Forte Carlton Hotel.

Over 150 guests attended the festivities, from international design aficionados and Milan notables to American designers, all gathered to welcome Stefano Tonchi back to his home country and support PALMER as it hosted its third annual Milan Design Week event, following past celebrations with Ralph Lauren at its Milan boutique and at the Portrait Hotel.

This year’s party felt bigger than ever. The room reflected a mix of leaders in design and fashion, with Molteni&C, Poliform, B&B Italia, and Janus et Cie on the design side and, in fashion, Anoushka Borghesi from Armani, Lorenzo Serafini, Creative Director of Alberta Ferretti, Hermès’ Peter Malachi, Max Mara’s Giorgio Guidotti and representatives from Gucci, Loro Piana, Prada and Dior. Milan fashion icon Anna Dello Russo was also in attendance, and frequent Palm Beach visitors Wes Gordon, Creative Director of Carolina Herrera, and Paul Arnhold joined the fun.

For a moment, a little bit of the magic of Palm Beach was felt in the air, as guests leafed through issues of PALMER and Holly Hunt and Lilly Pulitzer were warmly introduced to Milan.
