WELL/BEINGS marked its 10th celebration in Palm Beach at The Brazilian Court, bringing together about 100 guests for an evening focused on mangroves, manatees, and the work happening across the region. Hosted by co-founders Amanda Hearst Rønning and Breanna Schultz with the Palm Beach Host Committee, the event raised funds to support local conservation efforts. Guests gathered for cocktails and a vegetarian canapé menu prepared by the culinary team of Daniel Boulud, with a short film highlighting recent projects on the ground.
The evening centered on WELL/BEINGS’ “Save the Mangroves, Save the Ocean” campaign, underscoring the role these ecosystems play in stabilizing the climate and supporting marine life. Mangroves capture significantly more carbon than most forests, while also protecting coastlines and providing critical habitats, yet they remain under increasing pressure from developments, pollution, and climate change.
“Every second breath we take comes from the ocean, and protecting mangroves is one of the most powerful ways we can safeguard our climate and marine life,” said Amanda Hearst Rønning. “This evening is about bringing together a community that understands the urgency of this work and is committed to creating lasting impact for animals, people, and the planet, and future generations.”
“Our goal is to support the incredible local partners on the ground who are restoring mangroves and protecting manatees in real, tangible ways,” said Breanna Schultz. “By investing in these ecosystems, we’re not only addressing climate change, but also preserving biodiversity and strengthening the resilience of coastal communities for decades to come.”
PALMER was the event’s media sponsor and guests also toasted to WELL/BEINGS being one of the 2026 recipients of Lilly Pulitzer’s Prints With Purpose initiative, with a dedicated collection set to launch on May 15.
