Last Saturday, PALMER celebrated the release of Vol. 11, hosted at the private home in Southampton of none other than Martin and Audrey Gruss, the latter a philanthropist and style-maker whose own whirlwind excursion to the City of Lights is at the heart of the new issue.
Indeed, Vol. 11 features an exclusive piece by Dana Thomas, with photographs by Luna Conte, offering a rare inside look at Audrey Gruss’s world as she made her way through Paris Haute Couture Week, from the runway shows at Chanel, Dior, Armani, and Schiaparelli to the private ateliers where a select few clients get to see, touch, and ultimately choose the pieces they will wear next season.
Guests included Jamee and Peter Gregory, Victoria Wyman, Alfred Lasher, Amy Hoadley, Janna Bullock, Lisa Immordino Vreeland and Alexander Vreeland, Edwina von Gal, Howard Blum, Ivana Lowell, Anne-Isabelle and Alexandre Choueiri, Ritchey Howe, Carolyn Pressly and Kevin Ryan, Alison Brod, Christy Ferrer, and many more gathered over wines generously provided by Cimento, a new estate-driven brand producing limited-release wines from The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater in Oregon’s Walla Walla Valley, one of the most geologically singular wine-growing regions in the world.
