RSVP at your own peril! In a scam that feels tailor-made for Palm Beach, The New York Times reports that bad actors are employing fake party invitations, often appearing to come from people you know, to steal passwords and access personal data.

A dynamic group of female tastemakers gathered at Tutto Mare to toast FoundRae Founder and noted jewelry designer Beth Hutchens on the runaway success of her Palm Beach boutique including: Kelly Klein, Merrie Kramer, Kara Ross, Anna Flores Piran, Victoria Hagan, Carolyn Pressly Ryan, Ellen Niven, Carolina Sarria and FoundRae CEO Ruth Sommers.

With all the buzz about TNT (Taylor and Travis) tying the knot this summer, word is they are not only “Enchanted” with each other, but with Palm Beach as well, and have plans to build on a major lot they have apparently purchased on the north end of the island…

In Palm Beach, “March madness” always seems to center on restaurant news: the hotly anticipated Coco’s opens at the new Vineta Hotel; Le Bilboquet continues its incredible five-year streak as one of the most coveted reservations on earth; Nacho Figueras and Steve Hanson welcome throngs of equestrian-loving guests to their Polo Room restaurant; Gianpaolo and Gabby De Felice’s Tutto Mare is buzzing with sold-out crowds indoors and out and arguably the most magical view in town; following its notable success in New York and other markets, Estiatorio Milos shines as a glittering gold standard among hot spots; Malka’s chef Eyal Shani opens a new outpost called Bella in Miami; as always, La Goulue brings out the Francophile in everyone; Lamarina is a haven for yacht lovers everywhere; and daily rumors persist about celebrated new openings all over town.

Real estate roulette continues on the ocean block of Worth Avenue as O’Connor Group has sold their holdings on the south side of the street to a partnership led by England’s prolific Reuben brothers. Meanwhile, across the famed avenue, TZ Capital continues to develop the former Neiman Marcus space as a hotly anticipated luxury brand destination.

Aspen and Palm Beach have long been considered sister cities, and now the Wall Street Journal is among the outlets reporting on which takes the prize for most expensive real estate.Not surprisingly, many owners of the most coveted Aspen properties are Palm Beachers, and the same is true in reverse.

Trying her best to blend into the crowd of holiday shoppers along Worth Avenue, Oprah Winfrey, carrying a number of bags from Balmain, caused double takes as she darted in and out of neighboring shops.

Reservations are building at Polo legend Nacho Figueras’ new equestrian-inspired restaurant on Sunrise Avenue which opens in Palm Beach this week. While its been kept under wraps, The Polo Room will feature all of the star’s favorite cuisine, including seafood, steak and other culinary surprises.

In another strong sign for the strength of the luxury real estate market, Hollywood titan Terry Semel is rumored to have sold his East Hampton oceanfront estate to industrialist and philanthropist Len Blavatnik for $115m, the highest price ever paid in the Hamptons. The house had never been listed and was sold off market.

Multi-talented Palm Beacher Janet Gretzky, the model wife of Wayne, mother of Paulina, and mom-in-law of pro golfer Dustin Johnson, is one of the people behind Le Boom Boom, the highly anticipated burlesque show coming to Glazer Hall in February. Expect a star studded-crowd.

Anthony Ippolito, who played Al Pacino in ‘The Offer,’ is now stepping into the shoes of another icon, Palm Beach’s own Sylvester Stallone. The Peter Farrelly directed film, ‘I Play Rocky,” recently started filming with Sly wishing them good luck on Instagram. The nine-movie “Rocky” franchise –which Stallone wrote and starred in– continues to be an epic Hollywood blockbuster having grossed over $2 billion worldwide.

Shhh…Tennis legend Roger Federer will be coming to The Royal the week before Thanksgiving to sign a limited number of copies of the Assouline book, aptly titled, “Federer.”

Jeff Greene is hoping to bring a little Palm Beach real estate magic to LA. The mega developer has put his massive 53,000 sf Beverly Hills estate on the market for a sweltering $195m with a unique marketing twist…

With 25 acres, 12 bedrooms, 23 baths, a 50 seat movie theater, discotheque, bowling alley, 10,000 bottle wine cellar and its own vineyard, it seems like a deal. Restaurateur David Burke and Rapper/Actor Vanilla Ice are the latest to throw their hats in the ring with new restaurant and bar offerings in Lake Worth and West Palm Beach.

The art world is buzzing about the 24 extraordinary lots from the collection of one of Palm Beach’s greatest philanthropists and greatest sons, Leonard Lauder, to be auctioned at Sotheby’s on Nov. 18. Led by Gustav Klimt’s “Portrait of Elisabeth Lederer” (1914), alone estimated at $150 million, the sale also includes masterworks by Matisse, Munch, Picasso, Martin, Oldenberg and van Bruggen. A private celebration of the life and legacy of Mr. Lauder, who died in June at the age of 92, will take place at Lincoln Center on Sept. 29.

As Forbes crowns Palm Beach’s Larry Ellison as the world’s richest man with $393 billion, another 69 billionaires also call Palm Beach home with a cumulative net worth of an additional $620 billion.

Attention, Swifties, young and old: Taylor Swift sightings in Palm Beach may be on the rise. After being spotted in town earlier this year with Travis Kelce, the couple is now said to be purchasing a waterfront home near the property they had been renting.

Hollywood legend and Palm Beach resident Sylvester Stallone headlines the list of this year’s Kennedy Center honorees. Board members include fellow Palm Beachers Pamela Gross, Jennifer Fischer, Emilia Fanjul, Michele Kessler, Dana Kraft and Andrea Wynn.
