It seems the Palm Beach magic is back for the holiday season. Celebrity DJ Marjorie Gublemann – aka Mad Marj – brought down the house when she returned to her home town to open the new David Yurman boutique, adjacent to Le Bilboquet, at 249 Worth Avenue. The event was hosted by David Yurman President Evan Yurman and PALMER Editorial Director Stefano Tonchi.
This marks the eighth David Yurman boutique in the state of Florida. “For years we’ve had a vibrant client base in Palm Beach, but couldn’t find a location that we felt was appropriate to showcase our brand,” explains Lee Tucker, the brand’s Chief Merchant & Product Officer. “When we were presented [with] this space, the location really resonated with our founders and the timing felt right to plant a flag on Worth Avenue.” Inside the limestone facade, the 1,700 sq. ft. space features an elegant interior flanked with mid-century modern furniture inspired by the Yurman family’s personal collection. “We’re thrilled to give our local clients a new, elevated environment in which to experience our brand,” says Denis Velkovich, SVP of Global Retail & Client Experience at David Yurman of the new boutique which will feature “a beautifully curated assortment that’s tailored specially for the Palm Beach customer.”
Co-Founders Sybil and David Yurman were graciously on hand to greet guests including Bill Koch, Amy & John Phelan, William Gublemann, Talbot Maxey, Sharon Bush & Bob Murray, Kristina & Austin Bryan, Delia Stone, Susan Bodnar and Tim Malloy, Talbott Maxey, Karen Luter, Shannon Donnelly, Marc Rosen and many others.
