The Norton Museum of Art collaborated with the New York Historical Society to celebrate a Weekend with History: Palm Beach,  featuring a conversation moderated by philanthropist David M. Rubenstein – a co-founder of the private equity firm, The Carlyle Group, and new owner of The Baltimore Orioles, with Kai Bird discussing his Pulitzer Prize-winning books American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer and The Outlier: The Unfinished Presidency of Jimmy Carter.

New York’s very first museum, the New York Historical Society exhibits 400 years of history through groundbreaking exhibitions, outstanding collections, immersive films, and thought-provoking conversations among renowned historians and public figures since 1804, expanding our understanding of who we are as Americans and how we came to be.
