Coming off of last year’s quietly revelatory DIOR METAMORPHOSIS, in which photographer Robert Polidori documented the unexpected beauty of an architectural renovation, the artist returns with AT THE LOUVRE, which shows his unique perspective on the installation of a landmark museum exhibition. For his new book, Polidori leveraged exclusive access into the preparations ahead of Naples in Paris: The Louvre Hosts the Museo di Capodimonte, and entered the Louvre to shoot sixty major masterpieces from the Museo di Capodimonte as they arrived from Italy and were installed on the walls of the Grand Galerie.
