PALMER was proud to co-host the inaugural Fashion & Lifestyle Series for members of the exclusive The Boca Raton Club. This coveted series –conceptualized by The Boca Raton’s Director of Events and Programming Hector Rubio with PALMER, delved into discussions about the transformative power of style in shaping cultural and personal narratives through conversations with leading global authorities.
The season kicked-off in January with an exquisite waterfront fashion show presented by Swiss luxury fashion house AKRIS featuring their Spring/Summer 2024 collection in The Boca Raton’s historic Cathedral Room.
Club members were welcomed by a champagne reception on the Venetian Terrace of the newly reimagined Boca Raton Yacht Club and then enjoyed a conversation led by PALMER Editorial Director Stefano Tonchi, and AKRIS Vice President of Marketing Catanna Berger about Art & Fashion: The AKRIS 100th Anniversary Collection.
Founded in 1922, in St. Gallen, Switzerland, AKRIS Creative Director Albert Kriemler designs sleek collections for a discerning clientele of women with purpose. The third-generation family-owned house is renowned for its innovative fabrics, embroidery and digital photo printing techniques. AKRIS has boutiques in major cities worldwide.
In February, club members were treated to an entertaining and informative talk with international fashion commentator Hanan Besovic, aka @ideservecouture, who had just returned from Paris Fashion Week, who spoke with PALMER’s Palm Beach Editor Christine Schott on BALMAIN PARIS and The World of Fashion & Entertainment. Guests were then presented with a fashion show the brand’s latest collection in the club’s iconic Cathedral Ballroom, drawing rave reviews by all in attendance.
Since 2011, Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing has been inventively building upon Pierre Balmain’s extraordinary legacy, while always remaining true to his own determination to design clothes that reflect the way his inclusive, powerful, and global BALMAIN Army wishes to live today. The result is a unique and instantly recognizable BALMAIN silhouette, style and attitude that highlights the singular craftsmanship of the house’s celebrated ateliers, while consistently referencing its rich Parisian heritage.
The series culminated in March with a luncheon curated by Chef Andrew Roebeck exploring the fine Italian craftsmanship of TOD’s luxurious leather goods. A conversation between PALMER Editorial Director Stefano Tonchi and TOD’S CEO Roberto Lorenzini, highlighting the evolution of the brand and its enormous worldwide popularity. New styes were presented and one of the company’s talented artisans offered an exclusive shopping experience featuring product customization exclusive to attendees.

The PALMER series continues in the Fall with new offerings exclusive to Club members in partnership with luxury fashion, lifestyle and jewelry brands from around the globe.
